There is a lot of family break-down here with many husbands turning to alcohol and beating their wives and the society ‘accepting’ this, even going so far as the parents supporting the husband’s actions and telling their daughter to go back to him when she’s run away. In many cases the arranged marriage system doesn’t help!

Our friends are really in the first generation of people wanting to know what God’s word says about marriage so they can build their relationship on that. It has been incredible to see how eager they are to put God at the centre of their marriage.

When we got married we had the privilege of Godly examples to follow and plenty of people guiding us in the right direction. It was great to be able to pass on what we’d learnt and to help this couple think things through for themselves.
